The system will alter the radiator temperature to provide the correct amount of heating to keep the room at your desired temperature.
If however a radiator is only hot at the bottom and always cool at the top then it is likely that it will require an engineer to release the trapped air.
These are the room temperature settings which you can select to keep each room within your home at the correct temperature.
We suggest:
Living room – set to 5 Kitchen – set to 3
Hallway – set to 3 Bathroom – set to 3
Bedrooms – set to 2
As the rooms reach these set temperatures they will turn off.
It is important that you use all of the radiators to heat the property as it may system will run for longer periods if you try to only use 1 radiator which is less efficient and could cost you more.
The system creates and stores enough hot water normally for 2 baths. When you use hot water the system will make more automatically.
The switch labelled immersion in the tank cupboard should be kept on.
This is the master unit, normally you should not need to touch this.
This unit can change the settings or turn different elements on or off. It is also records energy usage.
Water should not leak from the unit although it should be safe to use – please arrange for a engineer to check it.
§ Is the upper display setting very high? Reduce this to no more than 24 oC.
§ Is there a heat source near or below the thermostat? This can affect its performance.
§ Are you using a lot of hot water? This can hold off the heating for up to 45minutes (For example if you have a bath)
§ Are the windows open?
