745 ShieldsRd-6How to apply for a home with Southside Housing Association          

    The way you apply for a home has changed.  We have moved to an online portal and this portal will allow you to apply for a home and it will let you keep a record of your application and supporting documents.  It will let you see that your application is live and any offers that have been made.  If we send you a letter, it will be stored here.   

    You can apply for our social housing and Mid Market Rental Homes with us.  You will be asked on the application form what type of housing you wish to apply for i.e. social rent or Mid Market rent. 

    For social rent we will award points to you based on your current housing need.  To see more about these points, click here.     

    For Mid Market Rents we do not allocate points,  however, you must have an income between £15,000 and £42,000 to qualify.  The rents are slightly higher and the properties will be carpeted and some will have white goods provided at an additional charge.

    Before you apply, we will ask you questions about: 

    • Your current address and when you starting living there 
    • Your previous addresses for the last five years and when you  started and ended your time at those addresses 
    • We will ask what areas you would like to live in.  You can select them all or a specific area or set of areas.  
    • Based on your choice of area, you will be asked what property type you are happy to live in. 
    • Then we will ask you a number of questions about your current living conditions, and your housing need.  When applying for social housing your answers to these questions will generate points based on your needs.   
    • You can "Save" your form at any time as a draft.  And you can then go back into it when you are ready to finish.  Clicking "Finish" will submit the form.  After this, you can see the form in our portal.  Use the Login button below to start your application. 
    • Once submitted, your application will be processed and points awarded (for social housing).  We may need to contact you for further information.   
    • If you have any problems using the portal or logging into the portal, contact the Allocations Team at Southside H.A. on 0141 422 1112 or email haf@southside-ha.co.uk.  
    • If you are unable to use the internet and do not know how, you can also contact us and we will assist you.                                 

    Log in to the portal using the green Login Button below or go to any smart phone or tablet or lap top and type: www.southside.rubixx.app/registration/customer.  You will be asked to register as a new customer and set a password, then you will be able to login. Login - click the button below
