Office Closure Information

Please note that Southside Housing’s office will close at 2:00pm on Wednesday 24 December and will reopen at 9:00am on Tuesday 6 January.

During this time, our office will be closed for routine enquiries. However, emergency repairs will continue to be dealt with.


Reporting an Emergency Repair 

If you are a Tenant, Mid-Market Rent Resident or a Factored Owner for emergencies during the break, please contact: 0141 422 1112.


What Is Classed as an Emergency Repair?

An emergency repair is an issue that poses an immediate risk to your health, safety, or the security of your home, or could cause serious damage to the property.

Examples include:

  • Loss of all heating or hot water

  • Burst pipes or severe water leaks

  • Total loss of electricity

  • Unsafe electrical fittings

  • Blocked toilet (where there is only one in the home)

  • Broken external doors or windows that leave your home insecure

  • Gas leaks or suspected carbon monoxide issues

If you have reported an emergency and contacted our out-of-hours service, but the issue remains unresolved, please click here.

Gas Leak or Gas Escape
