Single Building Assessment Programme
Southside Housing Association has received funding from the Scottish Government to take part in the Single Building Assessment (SBA) programme.
An SBA is a full safety check of a building. It looks at things like cladding, fire safety, and the structure of the building, and brings all the findings together in one clear report.
We have appointed Diamond & Co to carry out the SBA in your block. There is no cost to individual homeowners.
The assessment will take place over the next 3–6 months. You may see contractors on site from time to time, but they will not need access to your home. The surveys will focus only on the outside of the building and shared areas.
We are proud to be part of this important initiative, working with the Scottish Government to make sure homes are safe, secure, and sustainable.
