After three decades of dedication, we extend our best wishes to Kathy as she embarks on a well-earned retirement.
Kathy’s career has been one of commitment and hard work, from her early days in healthcare to joining Southside Housing Association in 1994 as a part-time warden. Over the years, she has taken on key roles in housing and maintenance, always ensuring services were delivered with care and a strong focus on tenant support.
Her willingness to go the extra mile and extensive knowledge have made a lasting impact. While her colleagues will miss her experience and expertise, her dedication has helped lay a strong foundation for the future.
Over the years, Kathy has tackled everything from supporting tenants through emergencies, always ensuring that services were delivered with compassion and an eye for detail (especially when a good spreadsheet was involved!).
Never one to let us forget her upcoming retirement, Kathy has been a constant source of wisdom, experience, and wit. Her colleagues will miss her problem-solving spirit, her ability to “muck in” when needed, and her unwavering commitment to our tenants.
While we’re sorry she won’t get to see the IT system upgrade she’s been asking for forever (sorry, Kathy!), her meticulous record-keeping ensures a smooth transition for those following in her footsteps.
We wish Kathy a happy and fulfilling retirement, filled with relaxation, adventure, and plenty of time to enjoy the things she loves.
Thank you, Kathy, for your years of service and contributions! 💙
