Our People
We employ approximately 100 members of staff across a number of different areas of the business who deliver the diverse range of services we provide to our customers.
Paul McVey: Chief Executive
Paul has worked for local authorities and housing associations since 1992, most recently being the Director of Cloch HA before joining Southside HA in September 2022 as our new Chief Executive Officer.
With a degree in Public Administration and Management, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Housing Studies, Paul’s focus has been largely on delivering services in both Housing Management and Repairs/Maintenance. As a Senior Manager for over 20 years Paul has championed excellent communication and customer service as the key components to running a successful housing association.
Pauline Fletcher: Director of Housing & Communities
Pauline joined Southside in 2015 as the Community Initiatives Manager; leading their community programmes and large scale green infrastructure projects. Pauline joined the Leadership Team in February 2023 and brings with her over 20 years’ experience within community development, health improvement and health inequalities roles.
Pauline has held positions within NHS Forth Valley and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, alongside smaller third sector organisations. Pauline holds a Masters in Health Education and Health Promotion from the University of Strathclyde and is currently studying a Post Grad in Housing Studies at the University of Glasgow.
Donna Reilly: Director of Development & Regeneration
Donna has been responsible for the Association’s new build programme for over 15 years. Donna has previously held Development roles in Gap, Shettleston, Link and West of Scotland Housing Associations.
Donna holds a HNC in Business Studies and during her time with Southside HA, Donna has provided Development services to a number of other housing associations including Key, Cadder and Ardenglen Housing Associations.
Laura Brennan: Director of Finance
Prior to joining Southside Housing Association, Laura held a variety of finance-related roles within the Construction and Logistics sectors.
Laura is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), has a Degree in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, and MBA from the University of Edinburgh.
Paul McColgan: Director of Property Services
Paul has worked in social housing within a property maintenance and asset management environment undertaking a variety of roles since 1997. Prior to that he was a time served joiner working for the NHS in Glasgow for 11 years. His most recent role was as the Director of Property and Assets at Cloch Housing for 10 years before joining Southside HA in December 2024 as Director of Property Services.
