We have been working with Page & Park Architects to sensitively restore the former British Linen Bank Building (Grade A Listed) at 166 Gorbals Street which the Association has owned since 1999.
Various feasibility studies have been carried out over the years on the existing tenement and planning permission has now been granted to restore the building. This will provide large flats on the upper two floors and the proposal to introduce a ‘café’ is being explored for the former Banking Hall on the ground floor of the tenement.
The mid-market rent homes will be let out via the Associations subsidiary company Southside Letting.
