Our People

We employ 96 members of staff across a number of different areas of the business who deliver the diverse range of services we provide to our customers.

The Association is lead by our Senior Management Team:

Patrick McGrath: Director

Patrick has been the senior officer at Southside since 1998.  He has previously worked in a variety of housing and urban regeneration posts with Renfrew District Council and Whiteinch and Scotstoun Housing Association and was previously Senior Housing Consultant with DTZ Pieda.

Patrick is a graduate of University College Dublin with post graduate qualifications from the same university, and post-graduate qualifications in Housing from Herriot Watt University and Urban Studies from University of Glasgow.


Norma Taylor: Depute Director

Norma has a background in Mental Health having qualified and worked as a mental health nurse in Glasgow and then worked in a number of roles with Glasgow Association for Mental Health for 16 years.

Norma joined Southside Housing Association in 2004 managing Housing Support Services. This remit later widened to include all Community Services and Norma was appointed to the role of Depute Director in 2019.


Allan Forfar: Head of Housing Services

Allan joined Southside Housing Association in 2011 as part of the TUPE transfer of staff from Glasgow Housing Association (GHA) during the Second Stage Transfer process.

Allan was a Neighbourhood Manager for Cardonald within GHA and has over 20 years experience in social housing management.


Donna Reilly: Head of Development

Donna has been responsible for the Association’s new build programme for over 15 years.   Donna has previously held Development roles in Gap, Shettleston, Link and West of Scotland Housing Association.

Donna holds a HNC in Business Studies and during her time with Southside HA, Donna has provided Development services to a number of other housing associations including Key, Cadder and Ardenglen Housing Associations.


Mandy Wright: Head of Finance, IT and Factoring

Mandy has been with the Association for the past five years.  Previously Mandy held a variety of senior management roles in Scottish Enterprise, including five years as Finance Director.  Mandy is a qualified accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants.

Prior to working at Scottish Enterprise, Mandy was a Senior Auditor at Coopers and Lybrand Accountants.  Mandy has a HNC in Accounting from Glasgow College of Technology, (Now Glasgow Caledonian).
